Add time slots: full access, limited minutes and points-based

A parameter-by-parameter walkthrough of the Edit Slot dialog: day type (regular / holiday / make-up), start and end time, the three limit types, the minute quota, and the advanced settings for breaks and app-group binding.

Select a day row in Time Management, then click Add slot or Edit slot. Below is a walkthrough in control order.

Day type

Decides which kind of day this slot applies to: regular, public holiday or make-up workday. Only slots matching today's type run — this is what lets vacations have their own schedule.

Start & end time

Format is HH:MM and the dialog shows the total duration. For slots crossing midnight, split them into two (e.g. 22:00–23:59 and 00:00–01:00).

Limit types: three control methods

Advanced settings

  • Enable break: force an eye-care break every N minutes of use for M minutes — see Eye-care rest cycle.
  • Bind app groups (checked ones apply): restrict this slot to specific app groups, e.g. “only study apps in this slot” or “no games in this slot”.
  • Study Exclusive for selected study groups: everything outside study apps and the system allowlist is closed — see Study Exclusive mode.
