Does switching lose my config?
No. The two configurations coexist independently; switching shows a confirmation dialog, and switching back keeps the original settings. The row for today is selected by default so you can edit the current day right away.
Bulk generate: sync the two modes
Generate from workday/rest-day: overwrite Mon–Fri with the workday template and Sat/Sun with the rest-day template.
Generate from weekday: overwrite the workday template with Monday's rules and the rest-day template with Saturday's rules.
